Three expansions in two years. Wow! Unrefined has flown the coop again. Our wings just keep growing.
The excitement at the new location is palpable. The crew moved an entire kitchen to a new location, and completely unpacked in THREE days. My Fitbit clocked me in at 55,000 steps, and I lost six pounds during the move. The steps are, in part, thanks to the square footage of our St. Clair location. We went from 1,800 sq ft to 4,000 sq ft!
We more than doubled in size, and in turn doubled our capacity to create and innovate.
The most common sentiment I heard during the move was, “I can’t wait to see what we come up with here.”
Speaking of coming up with great ideas, to celebrate our first day of normal business operations at the new location, Riley Tatonetti, co-founder and COO of Unrefined, treated the staff to one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever eaten.
We don’t have a concrete date yet, and nothing is finalized, but expect to be able to purchase this delicious sandwich and other healthy items…in person.
During our breakfast celebration, I decided to pick the brains of my compatriots. I asked Riley for some words of wisdom about how she got herself to this successful position in life, and business.
“When you consistently choose to show up for yourself, to invest in yourself, and to evolve, you will be able to control every outcome you desire in life. Don’t forget that. You are the main character of your life. Choose health, choose growth. Choose you!“
After speaking to Riley, Oliva Stone, VP of Client Relations and our Event Specialist, told me what she was most excited about at the new location.
“I am so excited to have a space that we can call home; a spot to flourish in. It feels like we’re really growing up and taking a step in a very positive and professional direction!“
I found myself enjoying all the positivity, so to keep it going, I asked Ameer Hassen, co-founder and CEO of Unrefined, if he thought we were done expanding.
“Absolutely not. We have to think big to get big. Both inside and outside of the gym. If we’re not growing, we’re stagnating.”
With our first week in the books, I can honestly say that with our added space, we now have the ability to expand the scope of our meals, come up with bigger ideas, and continually assist our clients in becoming the best versions of themselves. 2023 is looking to be an incredible year.
